I’ve added another string to my bow re my assistance dog training.
Jacob and Douglas came to visit at the weekend and I learned that Douglas wants to be a Zookeeper!
Well that’s quite a coincidence, because recently I have started to take an interest in zoological matters. As you know from an earlier post I met a crocodile in the woods; and I have heard there are even larger animals such as elephants and giraffes, and small scary ones called cats.
But I decided I should start small and work my way up so I went off into the garden to see what I could find that Douglas might like for his zoo.
To say that M & D were surprised at what I found would be an understatement. Mum recoiled in horror as I dropped the first of many at her feet. Many of what, you might ask. Slugs and snails, what else!
Just to be clear, I don’t eat them – I’m not French – which is just as well because apparently they are not at all good for dogs. No, I just carry them into the kitchen and play with them.
Mum says it’s gross. Dad says we now have all the ingredients we need for a little boy. Really, I don’t know what he’s talking about half the time.
