I have a new nickname

Just a quick note to announce that I am very proud to have a new nickname, one which appears to be African in origin.

It’s not quite as impressive as “Mufasa” but it comes quite close and it sounds very regal as befits my pedigree status.  It is “A-kim-bo.”

Mind you, I’m not quite sure what it really means.  Dad said it to me in a sentence which doesn’t quite make sense, “Look at you sitting there with your legs, Akimbo.”  Of course I’m sitting here with my legs.  How else would I sit?

[Editors note: He’s  close, but he seems to have added a comma and a capital letter.  What I actually said was “Look at you sitting there with your legs akimbo.”
